When we went to the oil factory at 19.00 tonight, there were 12 people in front of us. The owner of the oil factory took us forward and our olives were put into the machine in the 5th row. Ayvur Peletier, together with Zekeriya Bey's younger son and daughter, observed how olive oil was obtained from olives for the first time.
It was remarkable that the amount of leaves and branches in our olives was low. Our olives, which were poured from the container into the area called the cauldron, were first cleaned from the existing leaves by air blowing, then washed with water and taken to the closed cauldron reserved for us in the factory. This phase started around 7:30pm and oil extraction from our product was completed at 9:25pm. It produced 96kg of oil in a fatty acidity of 0.7 and a beautiful green colour.
As the factory's rule, 10kg of oil was given to the factory. The remaining 86kg of oil, 15kg of oil was given to each of the three female employees who helped in the olive picking as 5lt. 71kg of oil was also sold to the factory at 60TL/kg, generating 4260TL of income for our site. This income has been deposited into the bank account of King Villas Sitesi. In the picking work, this year, 400TL for the male worker and 250TL for the female worker, were given in addition to 5lt of oil.
