Today, 12 November 2022, our olives were picked in our olive trees in the common areas of our site. In the harvesting work, this year, two workers who came from outside with a shaker and Zekeriya Bey's wife and elder sister helped in the olive picking.
Olives picked from our olive trees on our site were taken to Didim Zeytin İşletmeleri Olive Oil Factory, with the trailer belonging to Zekeriya Dayan, suggested by Mr. Zeki Alkan. When Zeki Alkan, Zekeriya Dayan and Ayvur Peletier took the olives to the factory, the factory asked that all olives be unloaded into a green container. All of our olives fit in one container and the total weight came to 561kg including the container. The factory was very busy and since many people brought olives, we were told that our olives would only be processed on Sunday evening. We left our olives there and went back to the site.
