Turkey is trying to heal its wounds after the devastating earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş. Earthquakes of 7.7 and 7.6, the epicenter of which was Kahramanmaraş, shook Turkey deeply. More than 45 thousand citizens lost their lives.

With the donations we have collected, our site has participated in the aid campaign initiated by the Didim Animals and Nature Protection Association (DİHAD) to establish shelters and to enable the treatment of injured animals for the 126 dogs brought to the Didim Animal Shelter from the disaster area so far.

At the end of this campaign, a total of 7850TL was collected and delivered to DİHAD employee Süleyman Hikmet Başaran Bey. In this aid campaign of DIHAD, of which our support is a part, 60 pallet-houses have been built so far. For the construction of the pallet houses, 210 pallets were purchased, 200 meters of tarpaulin, 30 pieces of 2.5 meters of profiles, 60 meters of 1.5 steel turning wire were purchased. The clinics have been paid 7.500 TL so far. The work of the volunteers continues.

From our residents who donated to our campaign; Many thanks to Rebecca Kyte and her family and colleagues, David Rudeforth, Monja Ipek, Denise Walton and Ayvur Peletier for all their support.
